Student Rental Properties.
Our student properties are let on Private Residential Tenancies and can only be offered for let once the existing tenants have sent us a notice to leave. This can happen anytime between January after returning from the winter break until the summer months.
We do not keep a mailing list of people searching for rental accommodation due to the high volume of enquiries we receive.
Viewings
Once we have notification from each property it will be advertised in our office and on the Student Letting section of our website. You can then contact us for a viewing. Applications will not be accepted unless a viewing has taken place by at least one member of the group. Viewings via videocall may be available dependant on the property.
Viewings may be limited due to demand.
Applications
If you are interested in the property after the viewing you can complete an application form. This can be downloaded via the blue banner below. The application should be submitted with the accompanying documentation via email or hard copy. A group interview may be requested depending on the number of applications received. Once your application is accepted, we will prepare the lease for signature and a deposit equivalent to one months rent will be due.
Required Documents
- Current landlord or hall warden reference
- Character reference (cannot be from friends or family)
- Proof of home address – not term time address (utility bill or bank statement)
- Copy of matriculation card
- Copy of ID (passport or driving licence)
Please ensure the application is complete and includes all requested documents before submitting.
Rent
Rent will be payable quarterly from the entry date and does not include any utility bills. We ask that when the deposit and rent are paid it comes in one full payment from one tenant with the property address as the reference. Keys will not be issued until rent is received.
Please note if funds are coming from overseas they should be sent at least a week in advance to ensure the funds are with us prior to the due date. It is also worth noting that there may be bank charges for overseas transfers which will alter the amount we receive.
